Notice is hereby given by the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) of its intent to contract with McElhanney for the detailed design of the Water South Extension Project.

Scope of Services: 

The project involves extending potable water service southward from the Comox Valley core area to provide bulk potable water to the K’ómoks First Nation Southlands, enable the conversion of the Royston Local Water Service area to CVRD supply, and improve water supply to two constrained City of Courtenay zones. Building on the preliminary design completed in 2021, the upcoming work will advance the project through updated field investigations, refined alignment and design considerations, and the completion of detailed design and tendering process.
