Description: 

The CVRD invites tenders for the supply of labour, materials, and equipment to perform trail upgrades in Seal Bay Park. The scope of work generally includes, but is not limited to:

  • Replacement of Seal Loop Pedestrian Bridge, requiring removal of an existing 7m wood bridge and installation of a 12m aluminum bridge (bridge supplied by Owner). 

  • Don Apps Trail (Phase 1) for renovation of substrate/surfacing for specific trail sections and supply and installation of an aluminum staircase, including decommissioning of existing section of trail. 

  • There is optional scope of further upgrading to Don Apps Trail (Phases 2 & 3), and the Coupland Loop Trail to accommodate universal access for pedestrians.
